Vehicle Detail

This is a 1970 Early Ford Bronco that has a steel body, no fiberglass. The body has had some repairs done to it, including a new complete front floor pan section. It has a 302 V-8 motor, 3 speed manual transmission, Dana 20 transfercase, Dana 30 front axle w/ 3.50 gears/open diff./drum brakes, Ford 9" rear axle with 3.50 gears/open diff./ drum brakes. This is an entry level Bronco that runs and moves. It has the original uncut rear quarter panels on it, real good tires, all gauges and lights work. More picture available unon request. I will have more pictures and info listed tonight, 4-28-13. Thanks! On Apr-28-13 at 21:32:24 PDT, seller added the following information: BODY: The body of this Bronco is not perfect, but its far from being junk. It has recently had the new front floor pans and tranmission tunnel replaced with the factory type floor pans with the ribs in them. They have been plug welded and ground flat to look like factory spot welds, a decent job was done. Still needs some seam sealer and primer/paint to finish it off. The rocker panels have has some past repairs done and will need some more attention. The windshield frame, doors, and grille are all real solid. The grille has some dents, but not rust. Front fender are pretty decent, passengers side has been cut for a flair, and has a cracked flair on it. Front lip on hood is decent, does have the typical crack on one side about 6" back from the front. Tailgate has a couple little pin holes in it, but not terrible. ENGINE: Pump the gas pedal a couple times and it starts right up, even the choke appears to work decent. Ford 302 V-8, pretty much stock to the best of my knowledge. It has an OEM Ford Motorcraft 2 barrel carb on it, and stock cast iron exhaust manifolds. Has dual exhaust out behind the back wheels. The motor carries good oil pressure. Motor does have a small oil leak from either the rear main, or pan gaskets. It’s not a huge leak that pours out, but it is there.AXLES / SUSPENSION: Dana 30 front axle, drum brakes, 3.50 gears, open diff. Ford 9” rear axle, 3.50 gears, open diff., drum brakes. Both axles are pretty much stock as these appear to me. This Bronco has NO lift kit on it. It has the stock coils spring and leaf springs under it. Rear shocks have been replaced. Driveshafts appear to be functioning ok. TRANSMISSION / TRANSFERCASE: Stock 3 speed manual trans. with shifter still up on column. Shifts very smooth without issues, shift collar on column is tight, not all sloppy. Clutch feels to be good in bronco. Transfercase is the straight shift pattern, shifts smooth through all ranges as well. OTHER / MISC. The tires are an all season type radial, P225-75-15 with a good share of tread left on them. All glass is good. All the gauges work including the fuel gauge. The wipers work, the heater blower works, even the back-up lights work. All lights are in proper working order as well. The battery is fairly new also. This Bronco is NOT perfect, but a workable project for someone who could drive it and work on it. I have taken some time to write this description with honesty and details to the best of my knowledge. Yes the Bronco does need a few minor things, but nothing real big or show stopper. It has not been fully restored, it is not flawless, but a respectable project Bronco. This truck appears to be fairly original and not all messed up or jacked up. There are a couple mechanical issues I know of that I am making you aware of. The brakes have air in them and need to be bleed out. A prior owner installed a new brake line on the rear axle and never bleed the brakes. The motor does seep some oil as described earlier, and the pinion seal on the rear axle seeps as well. Seeing how the brakes need to be bleed and checked out a little more, I would not recommend driving it home in its present condition. Buyer is responsible for all shipping/transportation costs. I can have it shipped right to your doorstep if needed. I will make my schedule flexible for pickup of the Bronco when needed, and assist in loading. A United States Post Office Money Order of $1,000.00 for a deposit must be received within 36 hours after the auction closes. The deposit is NON-Refundable. Standard money orders, cashier’s checks, and bank checks NOT accepted. Cash is always welcomed. The remainder of payment for the Bronco must be a wire transfer to my bank, or cash in person. I will not release the Bronco or title until paid in full. Bronco must be picked up within two weeks after auction closes. I have a great track record on Ebay with 100% feedback rate, I feel I do good honest business. Good luck, and happy bidding!
