We purchased this vehicle from a bank as a repossession and it is in need of repair. It appears that this vehicle has had water damage and will not start. We do not know the exactly how much or what portion of the car was flooded but we can tell you that the interior is clean and there is no water in the engine oil. It would be our guess that the water got to the dash or computer area but did not get high enough to enter the engine. The vehicle will power up, the dash and digital displays work, the radio plays, and all of the power windows and accessories work. However for whatever reason the ignition is dead and will not allow the car to start. We have not had the vehicle professionally diagnosed and do not know the reason for it not starting. Therefore we are selling this car TO HAVE HAD PREVIOUS FLOOD DAMAGE. With that being said this vehicle does still have a clean title and clean Carfax. It appears that prior to having the water damage this was a well cared for low mileage vehicle. The interior is quite clean, the leather and carpet are in very good condition and show very little wear. The body is straight and shows no signs damage or previous repair. The Volkswagen Jetta GLI is am extremely popular and highly fuel efficient vehicle. Kelly Blue Book Retail is over $11,900 on Jetta with this mileage, regardless of that we are selling this vehicle with NO RESERVE! CONDITION: EXTERIOR: As stated above the exterior appears to be in good condition. There are only a few cosmestic flaws that we could see which are the following.... The windshield is cracked, the right front factory wheel is missing (spare tire on vehicle), and it appears that something such as bird dropping sat on the top of the vehicle staining and in a few places etching the paint. Most of the stains should buff out however there are some that went through the paint. Other than that and a few small dings this is still a good looking vehicle. INTERIOR: The interior is clean and looks to have been well cared for. The vehicle only has 34,390 miles on it therefore the interior still looks good. DRIVE TRAIN: As stated above, this vehicle has had water damage. For unknown reasons the engine will not start or turn over. SHIPPING and PAYMENT: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. If deposit has not been received within 48 hours of the end of the auction the vehicle will be re-listed, no exceptions. Balance due upon pick up.
