> 1969 Datsun Roadster!!! Here is a beautiful 1969 Datsun 1600 SPL311 Roadster that is in excellent condition and is rust free!!! This Datsun is a California car that just recently came to Arizona. This car was the subject of a cosmetic restoration and looks absolutely gorgeous. At the time of restoration the car recived a gorgeous paint job on a beautiful straight rust free body, all new chrome, refinshed emblems and new lights and lenses etc... The body on this car is absolutely laser straight. This is one of the nicest Datsun roadsters I have seen in years. This is a nice original unmolested car. This car retains its original engine and is numbers matching, original steering wheel, original jack and even its original spare tire!!! The cars underside is original and in excellent condition. These cars are great cars to drive and enjoy either daily or just for fun on the weekends. They are beautiful to look at, rare to see, easy and even fun to maintain due to there simplicity. Click to enlarge Exterior: This great Datsun Roadster was treated to a high quality paint job and as you can see from the photos, it looks gorgeous. The body on the car is laser straight and free of "waves." All of the doors, hood and deck lid all line up beautifully. When looking inside the trunk area and looking at the nose of the car, it appears to be accident free!!! The car was repainted silver but aa modern base coat clear coat process was applied and will last for many years to come. The chrome on the car is in excellent condition having just been redone. All of the exterior lights etc are new and in excellent working order. The car does have a convertible top, however it is not in perfect condition. It will keep you dry if the weather turns sour on your weekend drive, but if a new top is desired we can work that into the price. Overall the exterior of the car is in excellent conditon! Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this VW is in great condition and classicly simple!!! The interior was reupholstered a few years ago and still looks great. It retains a factory fresh appearance retaining its original radio (modern radio is in the glove box, seats and even retains the correct steering wheel. The dash is very simple and straight forward. All of the knobs and controls are in working order. The seats are free of rips, stains, tears and are in nice shape. All of the gauges and lights work. The dash is free of cracks etc... Overall, I would say that the interior is in very nice shape!!! Click to enlarge Engine: The 1600cc engine has been given a recent tune up and starts up and runs like a top!!! The engine fires right up and blowns no smoke on start up or while driving. The engine is fed by two carbs and really moves the car along quite well. The carbs were just rebuilt as well as the slave cylinders. This is a matching numbers engine!!! I have had this car on the freeway many times and it keeps up with modern traffic with no problem. The transmission shifts perfectly through all of the gears with ease. The car rides, steers and stops GREAT! The car tracks beautifully down the road and the brakes are strong and stop this car with ease. This really is a great driving Datsun that can be driven daily or just for fun on the weekends. The car is great fun to drive. Everything works, from the windshield wipers, and all of the lights. These are great cars because they are very reliable and any part you might need is readily available and very inexpensive. This car however, shouldn't need anything for sometime!
