Vin # 7R01C205945 . This is a San Jose Car and she was born on May 8, 1967. It has the original 289 2 Barrel (Rebuilt at Motor Center on October 12th 2012), 2 Valve V8 and C4 Automatic Transmission. Also, this is a factory A/C (Brand New from Classic Auto Air) and Power Steering car. I purchased it near Dallas in 2011 for my wife, as she missed her old 67', now the wife has a modern car so ... it's time to move on. I will try to be as detailed as I can to reduce questions. I have all receipts for all work done and the motor only has about 600 miles on it since the rebuild in October. It is under warranty for 12 months/ 12,000 miles (October 2013). Just finished the initial break-in and added the zinc oil additive so she is good to go! If you want more details keep reading. Good luck and enjoy this great deal!! If you live within a couple hours of Southeast Houston there will be no problems driving the car back. There should be no problems driving further but I have never driven her more than 2.5 hours straight without stopping. *Placed Second in the Fun Ford Weekend Car Show in March 2013. Plaque will be included with purchase. It is mostly original except for the many new parts and enhancements we've done which have all been this year 2012. The entire A/C system has been replaced, except for the Heater Box, with the Sanden R134A conversion kit (Classic Auto Air), condenser, evaporator, etc. Front power disc brakes have been installed (kit from Manatee Mustang). New perches, pads, springs, and shocks (kit from Grab A Trak). Many important engine parts such as: Carburetor, Timing Chain, T/C Cover, Water Pump, Housing, Thermostat, P/S High pressure Hose, A/C Hoses, A/C Ducts, Heater Hoses, gaskets, distributor, Fuel Pump, Oil Pump, Starter, Flywheel, etc. The DS window regulator, voltage regulator, headlight switch, speedometer, cable, gear, hood hinges, antenna, cigarette lighter assembly, and ignition have been replaced, as well as two wires for the harness (1 to ignition and one to A/C compressor). All electrical works but there is an E-Brake light that stays on (can't figure that out). It has 14" Mag 500 Wheels with centers and new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires all around. The paint was done from the previous owner and it's not bad. The stripes are off center and there are many imperfections, as expected, however she still looks good. There are no big chips or cracks in the windshield or rear glass. The mirrors are all new and we added a passenger mirror as well. All gauges, blinkers, lights, wipers, am/fm radio, switches, etc work. MINOR ISSUES: The interior is original so it will need to be replaced (there are minor tears in the seats) a few years down the road. The carpet needs to be replaced. Air blows great out of the ducts but needs a new vacuum actuator (about $20) to switch from defrost, to floor, etc. It is currently set to "Dash". I recently broke the center horn (crash pad) on the steering wheel (sorry . . . road rage) so the horn no longer works. That's it! Everything has been professionally installed and we have receipts for all work, except for the easy stuff I did myself like chrome, voltage regulator, headlight switch, bulbs, etc. I will try to include that information in this posting. A lot of the original parts that were replaced still work and I have them as well. Most parts were purchased from Johns Mustang, made in the USA! New interior and paint and she's a show car worth well over $25K. I have invested almost $20K in this car all ready, I have receipts for all work. It is priced low with no reserve in hopes that you will bid high. This is a daily driver; it was (until now) driven at least five days a week, so it is safe! We've put over 7000 miles on it before the rebuilt motor. My wife's commute to work is 40 miles round trip. My commute to work is over 90 miles round trip and I drive through downtown traffic in Houston (sometimes almost two hours). We both drive the car during the weekends now as we enjoy it. There are no overheating issues and she runs great! I usually average 75 to 80 on the freeway comfortably and if traffic allows. A/C blows cool and is under warranty, as all parts are new. There are no leaks, she starts up great, and never dies. This car is always stored in our garage.
