Take Note America . . . Up for auction is very rare second generation 1968 Ford Mustang convertible. This classic has been owned by the same family for over forty years out of Arizona. She is a special order Mustang with her buck tag on the front fender and is equipped with her 200 Sport Six motor and a 3-Speed manual transmission on the floor with a complete Ford air-conditioning system even. Her body is very straight with only one small blemish on her passenger front light bezel which is a super easy fix. The exterior paint a lovely tan color with matching upholstery that is pretty clean. All the glass is in excellent condition throughout including the windshield. Stock steel wheels with great tread all around. Her chrome is all complete and everything looks nice except for the front bumper that has a slight wrinkle in her. The convertible top is getting old with the rear plastic needing replacing and two small holes in the canvas. The instrument cluster is stock with a working tachometer that is super neat. Original Ford push button radio still intact and the dash is spotless. Passenger side door has a very small spot of rust but her undercarriage and trunk are super dry. The best part about this Mustang is how well she drives. She is turn key and down the road you go with a smile on your face. Her hood is equipped with the highly desirable turn signal indicator that looks super cool. This classic Mustang is no where near what you would call a project car and will look great in your garage from day one. With just a few dollars needed to dial this beauty into perfection it will give the new happy owner something to work on that isn't impossible or too difficult to accomplish.
