Vehicle Detail
This 1995 Honda VF 750 CD is a collector motorcycle and is 100% original, I installed close to $2000.00 in new parts one year ago, and put it into storage for 10 months, before storing it, I drained the fuel tank, float bowls and sprayed WD-40 into all four cylinders. Now, I filled the tank 2/3 full of premium fuel, when I tried to start it, it only runs on the back two cylinders, but when I sprayed a short burst of starting fluid into the air intake it ran on all four. I have purchased a bigger motorcycle, and have no more interest in the Magna nor do I want to pay someone to rebuild the carburetors. The NADA book on the Magna is $3,240.00 with it's options, and I'm asking $2,800.00 as is. I'm 58 years old and I take very good care of my things, the oil is spotless, the only thing wrong with this Magna is carburation, it is a powerful 750 and it will make you smile when you twist the throttle, that's my promise! I have all of the receipts and warranties for the new parts, and they are: National Cycle wide frame heavy duty touring windshield $305.90, Ignition control modual (chip) $594.43, AMG Gell battery $99.82, Full engine guard $181.63, Dunlop K555 120/80-17" $120.05, Dunlop K555 150/80-15" $154.71, EBC brake shoes $37.95, EBC brake pads $31.95, Clutch cable $30.73, Petcock (fuel valve) $81.36, Service manual $65.60, Right side mirror $22.95, Chrome seat stay $17.25, Drive chain $62.20, Starter relay switch $98.28, Fuel pump (vacuum) $168.67, Nelson Rigg motorcycle cover $47.98, and many other fasteners, oil, filters and rubber parts. I did repaint the top of the fuel tank with automotive gloss black paint three years ago and it shows some orange peel, I was careful to tape it off evenly and not take away from the other original paint work, and it will need fork seals at some point, they aren't leaking, but the outer seals have cracks. On Apr-25-13 at 10:26:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked some questions about the Magna and what type of motorcycle I bought, it's a Yamaha V-Star 1100, it's more of an old guy bike, it's bigger, but not near as fast as the Magna, I have taken great care of the motorcycles I've owned, the Magna has never been ridden in wet conditions and it doesn't leak even one drop of anything from anywhere. All of the new parts were installed just before I put it in storage and have less then 50 miles on them, and yes the bike ran beautifully when I stored it one year ago, when I took it out of storage and it didn't run right, I did my one shot of starting fluid and ignition test and it has great spark and compression at all four, I then left it alone, I don't force things to run when they clearly need something done. It also comes with a nice Bell, metalic blue full face helmet.
