The convertible top is black. Here is a great opportunity to acquire the 4.2 powered 6 speed Jaguar XK8 with only 42k miles!!!! Tough to find with these miles! The car is equipped with the desirable factory APOLLO 19 inch rims.( $1,100.00 factory option). Arguably the best looking factory rim available for the XK8!!!! The car has the very attractive dual/ triple instrument dial configuration on the interior. You will look and feel FABULOUS driving this car!!!!. The Pirelli sport tires are very good all around showing around 75% tread life. This Jaguar is the first year of the superb 300 Horsepower 4.2 V8 mated to a 6 speed ZF transmission which gives more power and better MPG (26 HWY...I got 27.2 average on a recent 1100 mile trip in a similar car!)) than the previous, also superb 4.0 V8. With 900 positive part number changes from the 2002 model year this is the 'sweet spot' year and the one to have as far as 'bang for the buck' performance and reliability goes. The most important change of course, being the all new 4.2L motor and 6 speed ZF transmission. This car is in excellent condition throughout. The interior is in excellent condition with no tears, burns etc apparent. The headliner is in excellent shape. A Non Smoker Vehicle! The paint has the luster of new and it drives as good, tight and strong as you would expect a 42k miles car to do. The engine and transmission are strong and smooth and ALL electrical components and systems, including the convertible top operate as they should.
