Vehicle Detail
This is a RARE 1956 Wagon - Ready to jump in and drive This is a loaded Special with power steering, power brakes, tinted windows (all), clock, Radio, I never intended to sell and sank a lot of good money into this great car It is a factory white / pink / white car. It has one repaint over the original colors- now green /white Paint code is N C N TAHITI CORAL / DOVER WHITE / TAHITI CORAL -I was going to repaint the original colors one day, but it drives and look OK the way it is. The chrome is shiny , but old and original , the stainless is very straight All the mechanics have been rebuilt and working great I am thinning my Buick collection- have over 20 great looking and running classic Buick's and not enough room I have driven this car recently on several trips and it drives tight, stops well, good power and great heat In the last few thousand mile I have have all professionally rebuilt...... -Engine, bored .030 over, all new inside, pistons, bearings and new valves -Transmission inspected and serviced -Radiator recorded -Heater core replaced and control valve -Steering box rebuilt -Power steering pump rebuilt -Radial tires -New brakes and wheel cylinders -Complete dual exhaust system -Nice frame mounted trailer hitch - All the electrical , lights, horn, signals, heater , defrost, reverse lights and dome light works well The steering wheel and padded dash are excellent!. The seats were recovered several years ago and have good support Door panels are original and aged, the headliner has one damaged spot above the rear hatch. Carpets were replaced at same time as seats Has cool period carpet savers front and rear- rear seat is great- forgot to get it in the pictures - Inop is the clock and radio - I never looked into them. I think some one put a radio in before me , as it is the rare wonderbar unit I just inspected thew car on a hoist and found little to no rust. It has been in dry storage the last 10 years and was a driver up to then. There is little specs of rust in the lower corner or rear doors, one pimple on the tail gate and has some rust in the spare tire well area. None found on floors, frame or supports. Overall a very solid car. I have sold several classic cars on e-bay in the last few years from my collection and for friends. All the buyers have been happy. Road test, phone calls are encouraged and very welcome. I borrowed a nice Nikon camera , the little one I use wont show detail with the white. They are the last two pictures.
