For sale is my 1985 Volkswagen Scirocco I bought it only a few months ago to relive a little of my youth (I owned an 88 16V when I was in college and loved it). I have had my fun and it is time to move on to the next toy. This car has ~95k miles on the body and about 30K on the engine. There is a binder of receipts of work done to sort of "tuner up" this car. OBDI 8V ported and polished engine modified ABA Conversion by NGP Tuning High Lift Valve Springs Autotech Sport CAM with 286 degrees of lift Port matched intake manifold European injection Techtonics downpipe and 2.5" exhaust system with hollow CAT, Magnaflow exhaust muffler and stainless steel tips New Clutch within the last 1K miles on rebuilt 9A 5 Speed with Neuspeed short throw shift kit Adjustable FK Konigsport Coilover Suspension Stress bars in trunk and engine bay Interior swap from 90's VW Corrado and Jetta Car is fast and fun and would make a great tuner or rallye car KBB is around $5K for a regular '85 Scirocco but at least another $5K in racing mods installed including 16V body kit, Kameii grill, Euro headlights and tailights, fixed wing, ATS Rims on nice Kumho tires, etc. etc. Apine Stereo, trunk mounted speakers (need to be hooked up) Interior not perfect but decent and comfortable Car is highly collectible and desirable Reserve is low. Buy it now is very low and includes spare door panel, door speakers, rear brakes shoes and drums, misc other parts, paint, and a spare brand new battery. If sold at auction and not by clicking buy it now, those items are negotiable post sale for a fee. Car is not perfect but I get thumbs up everywhere I go. Needs touch ups here and there to the body kit and interior. Exhaust sounds like a race car and idles real low. Leaks a little oil here and there sitting on the driveway but what 28 year old car doesn't? Not like you're dropping a quart in every week, just a few small spots here and there. Makes a great gaduation present or all around fun car. Few of these in nice condition left on the road. No visible rust or prior accident indications.
