Up for auction is a 1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340. It has the original 340 engine and an automatic transmission. The engine was rebuilt a couple of years ago and runs great. The car is red with black interior. It was repainted a couple of years ago and looks very nice. The black interior looks very nice also. It has newly ulpostered front and rear seats, new carpet, new headliner, and new dash cap. I just installed new front rotors, calipers, bearings, and pads also. It has 17 inch American Racing torque thrust wheels with Pirelli Scorpion tires. The car gets a lot of attention. It is a super solid car. No rust anywhere except for a couple of spots up under the front of the hood itself that are only visible when the hood is up. Could be very easily repaired or replace the hood. Doesn't affect the looks of the car at all as it is. Get in this car and drive anywhere. The odometer reads 12,983. It needs a new speedometer cable and needle. They only made these classic Challengers from 1970-1974 with only a few of the 1973 Challengers having the 340 engine. Most had the smaller 318 engine.
