This JK8 Jeep Conversion is a project has taken over a year to complete. We started with a very clean 2007 4 door JK Sahara with 59,000 original miles and a clean title. Brandon Gray, Owner of Auto Paint Specialists in Springfield MO, performed the body work and paint work utilizing the Mopar JK8 Conversion Kit. My son, Sam, did the rest; he is a meticulous Jeep fabricator. I will list some of his modifications below; most of which you will not see on other JK8 conversions. Sam and I entered our JK8 into the Springfield MO O'Reilly Auto Fest a couple of weeks ago and received many positive comments. One attendee agreed to put his comments into writing. Hidden Antenna (factory antenna removed & new hidden antenna mounted inside rollbar padding). Trail Rated Badge/Emblem (mounted in place of factory antenna). Hardtop & Targa Tops have been painted to match Jeep. Quick-turn Hardtop Bolts (for quick & easy removal of hardtop without the use of a torx bit tool). Truck bed has professionally applied spray-in Rhinolining . Tie-downs in truck bed. Unique Rear locking storage in back of truck bed. Jeep Rubicon 4-door Rock Rails (rhinolined to match truck bed). Factory 3rd Brake light deleted & rear tire mount rhinolined to match truck bed & rock rails.
