Up for sale is a 1996 Honda Nighthawk 750 (CB750) with just under 8900 miles. For those not too familiar with the Nighthawk, it's a standard/up-right riding position bike. Power delivery is fairly smooth/cruiser-like and peaks around 4k RPM. The torque band is fairly wide, and makes it a very controllable bike for beginners and very enjoyable for cruising around. The bike is also pretty quick and will do 0-60 in around 3.5-3.8 seconds. All in all it's a very well-rounded and fun bike, suitable for all skill levels. Upgrades: I've added a few tasteful upgrades to this bike to set it up to be suitable for longer rides and light touring, and easier maintenance. 1. Hondaline Crash Guards 2. Highway pegs mounted on the crash guards for longer rides, allowing you to extend/stretch your legs in a more relaxed riding position. 3. Hondaline Center Stand, makes maintenance much easier. 4. The bike also comes with the windscreen as pictured, as well as a much larger windscreen for touring/longer rides. 4. Last but not least, a Powerlet outlet has been fixed in a discrete area. This is a BMW-style power outlet (with adapter) will allow you to power various electronic devices as you ride (cell phones, GPS, etc). Maintenance: Front tire is good, rear tire is OK. Engine has been meticulously cared for and is in very good shape and runs great with no problems. Carbs are perfect. Seat is in fine shape with no cracks. Rubber on turn signal mounts is like new with no cracks. All lights and instruments work just fine. The bike also has a brand new, 0-maintenance battery. Chain is in great shape. Brake fluid is clean and has been recently flushed. New EBC brake pads and shoes. Flaws: The bike, being a 1996, is not perfect, but is in very good overall shape. There are two flaws as documented in the pictures, being: 1. A slight scuffing to the edge headlight housing 2. Very small indentation on the top of gas tank The bike itself has a clean title and is ready to go. Please feel free to e-mail if you have any questions or would like more pictures.
