1958 IMPALA 1958 Impala 2 Door Sport Roof Resto Mod This is a High Quality, Tribute Car, to the infamous 1958 Purple Impala, by renowned carbuilder, Lee Pratt, from Southern California. Designer Built, Ground Up, Restored Classic. As seen in a 14 page spread in the acclaimed hot rod magazine, Rodders Journal, volume #24 edition. Although this car is actually a black beauty, it brandishes a subtle and sexy, purple lace roof, that kills. This car has become legend since that article, and as a builder myself, I just had to have onefor my collection. We took six months to customize this rod, from a completely stock 1958 Impala. Nothing wasspared. Rebuilt, stock, matching numbers, 348 motor and trani, with 3 Deuces, 3 on the tree and positraction. The body is shaved and de-chromed of the over trim of that period, keeps this ride low and fat. Great black paint, clear glass and a low factory chopped roof and bagged, makes for abad ass profile.Under carriage, never rusted and in factory condition. This car has never been in competition, as this was not my original design, but steals the show in every venue. Your very own rolling mini car show, for real, Bad to the bone and super hip. A quick list of new upgrades will help answer some of your questions. New Vintage Air Ride System, New 1 inch white nylon white walls on skylark wire wheels and AirRide Suspension, with 2 remotes and LED dash panel. High capacity alternator, new battery andheavy duty starter. This car is shaved with hidden remote door poppers and trunk popper, for that clean shaved look. Exterior color is gloss black, with a new pearl white, naugahide interior with black piping and headliner. Extra interior trim chrome added on door top and rear window trim, all new exterior chrome. Everything new and operable, no squeaks, dings, scratches, rust, cracks, discolorations or disappointments. Dash board panel completely enhanced with real "Mother of Pearl" custom installed. Customlined trunk, with matching wire wheel spare, matching luggage bags and a carpeted cover for the air ride system. Gas filler cap is hidden and resides in trunk. A great sound system, with hidden amp, speakersand sub-woofer, stereo head with CD, hidden in glove box, with remote. This car is real and ready to give the coolest, hassle free pleasure to its new owner. A Great soft ride, steers, brakes and tracks perfect, no pulls or shimmies. I have close to $100,000 invested in this build and it has an appraised value of $80,000. All original parts and trim, in perfect condition and included with sale.
