***Unrestored-All original-matching numbers-1982 Ascot FT500*** What a GREAT bike!!! Spring is here! Get 'em cheap while you can!!! For auction is this fine 1st year example of an un-restored thumper! The Ascot FT500 is a single-cylinder, air-cooled thumper that is perfect for cruising your favorite back-roads. It's a great handling, well balanced, good riding machine. It has one nick in the original paint on the tank (see pics), minor specks of patina here and there but only enough to let you know that it is definitely all original. This bike starts easy even in cold weather, although it is a little cold-blooded, and runs down the road great! Everything works as it did from the factory including the horn, turn signals, hi and low beam headlight, brake light, tachometer, and speedometer. Tires and breaks are in good shape, clutch works great, no known issues. This really is a gorgeous vintage machine that has many great years of riding left on her and is quickly becoming a very collectible bike.
