Vehicle Detail

What we have here is a 1966 Aermacchi M50Sport sold and distributed by Harley Davidson. If you don't know the history, in order to compete with the incoming Japanese motorcycles that were running circles around Harley, Harley bought a controlling interest in the Italian Company Aermacchi. They were known for making 2 stroke street and trail bikes. Harley imported them to the states, slapped Harley decals on them and sold them as their own. This particular model of bike is very rare because the sport version (which this one is) was only made 1 year. This bike has been completely restored and rides and runs fine. It is a 50cc 2-stroke that requires pre-mix in the tank. Everything on it is stock and as it came from the factory. The only real problem with the bike is the stitching on the rear part of the seat has come apart. The seat cover is not torn, just the stitching needs fixed. Just haven't had the time to take it somewhere and have it repaired. I am only selling to take my collection in a different direction. Feel free to email with any questions you may have. Bike is located in Douglassville, PA and I am the owner. As with a lot of these smaller bikes, there is no title but one can easily be gotten through a title service, I just never bothered because I had no intentions of riding it on the street. Item is being relisted because previous buyer thought he had to hit the Buy It Now Button to see the price. I will only sell to buyers in the US and the bike must be picked up and paid for in person with cash within 3 days of the end of auction unless otherwise agreed upon in advance of the auction ending.
