1956 Chevrolet Stepside Pickup-Hot Rod-Kustom Paint-California Black Plates **NO RESERVE** Up for sale is professionally done pickup built to look good and also be a driver at the same time. Truck drives down the highway and back roads with ease using the sbc 350 and 3 speed transmission. 4 barrel summit racing carb with chrome air cleaner. Engine is stock with dual glasspack exhaust dumping out in front of rear tires. Paint is hard to capture with a camera...Paint is House of Kolor Tangerine Pearl that shows extremely well. All emblems shaved to create a smooth appearance with grill and headlight trim color matched with body. Bodywork looks good, no visible damage or filler inside fenders and bed. Floors and cab corners are solid. Door open and close nice. Rear bed wood has carpet laid down which looks extremely clean and was done to because glass/painted items where carried in bed and did not want to scratch new wood slates. Tailgate was smoothed with metal cap on exterior side to create smooth flow on exterior. All glass is in good shape, windshield has a rock chip size of quarter, but not cracked( see pic ). Vent window rubber has small cracks that show age, but still does the job and looks good. Windows roll up and down with ease. All new Chrome front and rear bumpers. Interior is done nice in gloss black with door panels painted in exterior Tangerine Pearl to keep the flow going. Stock bench seat done in nice cloth upholstery along with nice carpet on floor. New center dash gauge cluster, speedo unhooked because it was noisy, might need a new one. Gauges under dash are temp and oil pressure which also work great. Headlights, brake lights and turn signals all work. Horn not hooked up. Windshield wiper blades removed with chrome bullet caps placed over wiper bolt. Truck has newer wiring kit. Nice chrome rear brake lights on both driver and passenger sideRims are chrome steelies 15x7 with nice Cooper Radial tires -205/60R15 up front and 265/50R15 in the rear. The stance of the truck was completed by flipping the front axle with new air shocks in front, Rear has blocks in rear with leafs flipped on top of axle to get the right look and style. Rear end appears to stock but with newer gear ratio for highway cruising. Great turn key truck that has been very dependable. Truck looks great at car shows all while being a true driver and not just for show. Please ask any questions before you bid.
