Vehicle Detail
Hello PC Lovers! You are bidding on a 1990 Honda Pacific Coast 800L Motorcycle with 43572 miles on it. Often called the "Gold Wing Light" or the "Gold Wing;s Little Brother." I have owned a Gold Wing 1500, Silver Wing 1200 and of course a Night Hawk, CBR 1100 and a Rebel. I have owned this bike for 9 years. I can tell you now I have loved this bike! I am selling it because I have had a major foot injury and I need to get a smaller bike. My motto is if you can't pick it up don't drive it. I have enjoyed this bike with my oldest daughter for years! If you have a smaller Honda I would be interested in a trade against the final bid too. Just email me. If you are looking for an economical reliable commuter or touring vehicle that has more storage space than a Gold Wing itself and gets about 50 mpg to boot then this is the bike for you. Under seat storage has enough room to go food shopping and take a trip! These very unique bikes were only made from 1989 to 1998 (see table below). There were just over 15K made and here is your chance to have one! There are Pacific Coast clubs around for this classic touring motorcycle. This bike was sat on by a drunk guy at a pool bar who dropped it. Then he tried to pick it up before anyone saw (of course 10 people were looking through the window and screaming for me) and pushed it over to the other side. I have detailed the "injuries" in the pics. It was not wrecked. Has cruise controlPlates in VA and good through 6/13Had a new stater installed about 1K miles ago800 cc, V-twin liquid cooled engineExcellent leg protection from the weatherLarge weather tight trunk easily fits 2 full face helmets(not included) or 4 shopping bagsFun, sensible, reliable, comfortable commuter vehicle50 mpg / 4.2 gal tankPassenger back rest and hand railsClassic Collector’s SUV of MotorcyclesDrive to work or across the countryIf I were to keep this bike I would replace shocks soon, get the idle changed because after my last tuneup 200 miles ago is is too low, and get new tires before the next 1K miles. Please look at each picture very closely. There is no warranty. This is sold as-is. Available for local pickup. Can be shipped at buyers cost and I will work with shipping company. Down payment of $1000 is due within 24 hours of auction ending. I am a hot-blooded, red-headed woman! I turned 10 shades of red Monday afternoon when a young boy in my neighborhood broke the start button on the bike. He's only 5 and he was crying when he realized what he did. I could not make him feel any worse. He meant no harm he was just trying to do what he has seen me do so many times. If anyone wants to cancel their bid please let me know and I will do it asap. I know it is only a $20 fix but I just don't want anyone to be surprised about anything. UGH!
