Up for consideration is a 1998 HONDA GL1500CT VALKYRIE TOURER. This bike has the legendary Honda Six-Cylinder Gold Wing engine for superior power and smoothness . This bike has Factory Installed color-matched hard saddlebags with Chrome Trim Rails protecting them from bumps and bruises. It has a very nice Burgundy and Antique White paint scheme that has NO scratches, dings, dents, or rust. There is just some minor rub marks along the inside of the saddlebags against the rear fender that looks like it was a bungee cord rubbing up against it. I might have missed it when I was cleaning the bike. There is some superficial rust on some of the chrome in some places, Most of it had already come off with chrome polish, but I found a few things I missed when I took the photos. There is rust on the very top of one of the throttle cables which I was going to put black paint on but I did not want to hid any of the flaws. The front fender brake hose bracket is rusty as well. The bike and all of it components are structurally sound with no damage. Look closely at the brake and clutch fluid and you will see just how clean it is. There are no rips in the seats or back rest and all of the painted surfaces are well preserved. The Valkyrie comes with a Speedometer, Tachometer, Odometer, and lamps for Neutral, Directional, High Beam, Temperature, Oil, and Sidestand. The tires are getting a bit worn, so if you are planninning on buying this Valkyrie and riding it halfway across the country to California, I would plan on replacing the tires somewhere along the way.
