Vehicle Detail
1985 Saab 900 Turbo 4 door 5 speed - Super Low Original 39K Miles - 1 of a kind! This is the first year the 900T gets the 16V Turbo motorCar is beautiful with barely worked motor and transmissionClutch is in great shapeAlternator and battery recently replacedNo rust anywhereVery clean interior Just tuned up with New Plugs, Cap, Rotor, and Bougicord Wires Fresh Oil & Filters Car does have some minor flaws: -Headliner is drooping-Has been sitting for a while so tires are cracked-Slight fading of the clear coat near the sunroof and a stain on the hood (shown in pictures) The car starts, runs and breaks as it should. The power windows, sunroof, central locking, power steering, and all the gears in the transmission work fine. I have not tested the cruise control and heated seats. When you drive it it feels crisp and tight as a Saab with that mileage should feel. The car has had 1 prior owner. I currently drive a Classic Saab 900 and have been driving them for at least the past 20 years. I am a Classic Saab enthusiast and I work on them as well. As you can see my record here on eBay since 2007 has been mostly selling Saab stuff and I do have a 100% feedback history. From my experience and also according to the prior owner, and the carfax, and the NY Department of Motor Vehicle records the mileage is authentic. The roof and the hood have some fading from sitting out in the sun. It also seems that some kind of liquid fell on the hood to make the small dark spot you see in the picture. The engine wiring harness is original and there is no sign of cracking as many of the cars from that generation had. I think the engine wire harness is where you see it on top of the motor because the mechanic moved it when changing the alternator and did not clip it back in it's proper position. I understand the work it does need. I have not done anything to it because I know whatever repairs are done will depend on the level of restoration the new owner would want. This is a gem with all original manuals and purchase documents. With very little work this baby can be a collector's item which will make any Saab Lover proud. The car is being advertised for sale locally so don't wait if you are interested. Contact me if you'd like to come see it before purchase
