***1971 CB 175***The right color-the right bike! For auction is this incredible example of an old classic masterpiece! The Honda CB 175 was the perfect bike for Honda's campaign "You meet the nicest people on a Honda". This last year of the first generation example has been ridden over the years but nonetheless has been restored except for the rims. Resurrections by Ray here in Mercer, Pa tore this baby down to the frame and everything was repainted including the frame, tank, side-covers, headlight bucket, fork ears and taillight bracket. New tires, tubes, rim strips and balance beads were installed for smooth riding. The engine was then cleaned and polished and checked for leaks and re-installed in the frame. Brand new replacement mufflers were then installed along with a new battery and a new petcock. There are a few minor specks of patina on the rims but only enough to let you know that it is definitely old school. This bike starts on the second kick even in cold weather and screams to redline and beyond with no issues whatsoever! Everything works as it did from the factory including the starter, horn, turn signals, hi and low beam headlight, brake light, tachometer, and speedometer. This really is a gorgeous vintage machine that has many great years of riding left on her.
