Here we have a 1971 Corvette convertible with the original base motor, Power Steering, Power Brakes and power windows. I'm selling the vehicle for my father in law, he is computer illiterate, but wants to get rid of some of his toys so here we go! He purchased this Corvette in 2009 from the second owner who had it since 1974. I will be happy to give the name of the previous owner to the buyer of this nice car. He only drove it in the summer all of those years and like wise with my father in law. I believe it to be the correct mileage. Numbers matching car with the same transmission and rear end. The second owner hated the original color, Brands Hatch Green, so he had it painted Marlboro Maroon some thirty five years ago. There are cracks in the paint in the front of the car and some on the doors. This is a no-hit body with a very solid frame. There is some surface rust on the frame that would be common for a 42 year car, but structurally it is 100 percent. All front end and rear suspension control arms and bushings were replaced in 1995 to the tune of $1,871. dollars. A $600. tune up and general going over was performed in 2009 when he purchased the vehicle. If your looking for a great driver with tons of upside investment potential this is your car.
