***Currently running, but needs new oil pump and/or new engine*** Vehicle turns right over and does run, but please read for complete understanding. I was strongly advised not to drive until necessary repairs are completed. Vehicle was towed to and from the repair shop. I was driving the vehicle locally when the Oil Pressure gauge on the dash dropped to 10-20 PSI and the check engine light came on. When I stepped on the gas the PSI's returned to normal, but when idling the PSI's dropped. Regardless, I pulled over, called AAA and had the vehicle towed to my local GMC Dealership, Bergy's in Souderton, PA. One option was replacing the engine in the event there was engine damage. The second option was replacing the oil pump and see what happens. They were unable to tell me if there was lasting damage to the engine as a result of the failed oil pump. I've decided to sell it without the repairs. This car is still worth a lot. It has a clean title, which I have in hand. NADA clean retail book value is $10,150. This is a highly disiarable vehicle. This vehicle was given to me by a family member who was the original owner. Perfect Project and/or Repairable Vehicle. Vehicle passed PA inspection June 2012 with no issues. Recent Repairs and maintenance include the following: All new plugs and cords, new rear absorbers, front and rear differentials serviced, full transmission service done about 1,000 miles ago, included new pan, filter and complete flush. 4WD and AWD work great!!
