This auction is for a 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T (Top Banana). Mechanical: Car functions fine and has no known issues. The car has been garage kept and babied ever since I bought it in my junior year of college (2011) . I keep only Mobil 1 Synthetic oil in it and it has a fresh set of tires installed (No more than 3000 miles since they were bought). I installed Duralast gold brake pads the year I bought it and haven't had any issues there. The radiator started leaking in the winter of 2012 and I had it replaced. I just replaced the battery with a Duralast Gold last month. The navigation disc has been updated to a 2012 map disc. The transmission upshifts firm and seems solid. There is a lag when shifting from neutral to reverse but my 08' Challenger SRT does the same thing so I think it's just the behavior of the transmission. The a/c blows cold and all other options work as should. Exterior: The paint is very good overall. The previous owner damaged the right front quater panel and had it replaced. The paint is not a perfect match but isn't very noticeable unless you stand close and study it for a minute. The front bumper has some small blemishes all over the bumper (I don't know where they come from) but they really didn't show up on camera and aren't visible if you're not standing within 3 feet of the car. There are a couple scuffs on the lower left of the rear bumper which I tried to capture in a picture. There is some cracking of the paint on the front bumper above the headlight which I also pictured. Along the lower carriage of the car are black road stains which aren't visible unless you're laying on the ground. The clear coat is still good and has not faded. The black trim is fading but I use "back to black" every now and then and that seems to work for a few weeks at a time. The rims have a few nicks and scratches but nothing outrageous. The windshield has two visible chips which I have pictured. Interior: The interior's imperfections can be counted on one hand. 1.) There is a tear in the leather on the driver's side near the stitching but was so small it didn't show on picture. 2.) There is a cigarette burn on the rear seat (driver's side) near the seat belt. 3.) The dash has a crack in the center which isn't visible unless you look through the windshield from outside the car. - I mentioned the cigarette burn; When I bought the car it smelled like cigar smoke but I have rid the car of the smell and is no longer evident that it was smoked in. Aftermarket: The car is mildly modded. The mods include: A Jet 180* thermostat has been intalled for better cooling performance. A K&N FIPK cold air intake has been installed. There is a Diablosport Predator 93 octane CAI tune installed (really necessary to get the performance she deserves) and the programmer will be included with the car. You can put the stock tune back on if you wish. There is 35% window tint installed all the way around and I used only the best quality tint. There is an aftermarket iPod connecter installed that plays on the "VES" channel. The iPod is controlled by the steering wheel and hides away in the center console. Serious bidders only.
