VIDEO 1 VIDEO 2 Up for bid and offered for sale for the first time is a lovely 1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Roadster. This car is a beautiful older Body off Restoration Show restoration done in the original correct colors of Washington Blue for the body with Rivera Blue Belt line with Tacoma Cream Pin Stripe & Wheels. This is an all steel car with original factory sheet metal all around including the fenders from what I can see. The body is beautiful and strait with a great fit on the doors, rumble seat, hood etc. The finish shows no sign of cracking or shrinkage in the paint and has held up really well with a beautiful high gloss and can still be shown proudly. The entire undercarriage is nice and clean and the engine area and fire wall are also clean and detailed as they should be. The car is equipped with dual side mount wheels & covers, six white wall tires, stone guard, flying thermo quail, deluxe luggage rack, Ford Script running board step plates, rumble seat and dual tail lights. The interior & top were done by LeBaron Bonney as were the complete set of side curtains that I don’t think were ever used. The top has a minor soil spot on the rear side but I have been getting it out as I clean it and it seems that with a little more attention it will come out fine. Mechanically this car has had a complete engine rebuild at a cost of over $ 5,500.00 two years ago by a major Ford Model A supplier and rebuilding company and has less than 200 miles. The transmission shifts perfect and smooth with no noise in any gears and the clutch was done when the engine was rebuilt. The brakes work very well with a high pedal and the emergency brake operates as it should. The original Spartan horn works excellent with a loud proper ahooga sound as well. All lights operate well and even your dash light works the way it should. It has the original pop-out ignition switch as well. This car drives very nice down the road and will be great on any tour and will still show well at any show. Best of luck to all.
