Vehicle Detail
This bike was my daily ride for the past 2 years while I was living in the mountains of western NC. It's been parked since I moved back to Delaware in late October. I do start it regularly and let it warm up. I've almost always run non ethanol gas in it which was always available when I was living in the south. I'm the original owner, I bought it brand new at L&D Suzuki in March of 2007. I'm only selling it because I'm bored with riding on straight flat roads and I want a dirt bike to go do some racing. Bike has 21000 miles on it and runs good. New chain and sprockets and Yuasa battery at the end of last summer. The front and rear brake pads aren't much older than that. Dunlop tires have about a thousand miles on them and the tread in the center looks new, a little worn on the edges all mountain miles. Valves were checked about 6, 000 miles ago and were in spec. Oil was changed religiously every 2500-3000 miles with motul. This bike has obviously had some crash damage, I didn't take the plastics off because it looks cool. Its been down a couple times, low speed (Less than 60 mph) low side accidents. I was able to pick it up and ride it home before the cops showed up every time. Radiator has been repaired and works just fine. master cylinder reservoir is held on by wire ties but you can't tell because it has a cover over it. Tail is from shark skinz and it eliminates the back seat. I believe I still have the back seat if you wanted to switch it over to oem style fairings. Fuel injection light has been on for over a year because the flapper valve in the header is stuck in the open position so the actuator under the seat can't move when you turn the key on. You really can't notice any difference in the way it runs. With a cheap set of plastics and an oem headlight and a couple other odds and ends you could make money off this bike after you have fun with it this summer. I'm leaving the work for the next owner because I'm done with it, but it is ready to ride. Tagged in Delaware till March 2014. I've done my best to describe this item in detail and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have. I'm only willing to take cash payments, no PayPal and definitely no checks. I had a hard time getting pictures on here from my phone, i had to email them to myself and post them from my computer. if you're having trouble seeing them just let me know and i can text or email them to you. I changed this from a classified ad to an auction because I found another bike and want a quick sale. I could part this bike out for more than the reserve, and have already turned down better offers. I've had a hard time adding pics from my phone for some reason, i'm working on it at the moment. I can text them to you, 302-241-7855-Ryan
