Vehicle Detail
Honcho, SportSide. AC, tilt, buckets, sliding rear window, rollbar, grill guard. 84,000 verified miles on odo. Window sticker, dealer order, factory build sheet, and warranty cards. Most registrations back to 91-92. It was sold new in Richmond VA and never left the state. 2 owners prior to me. Chestnut Brown on original Tan laredo bucket seats. Yellow/orange stripes. One spot of rust under rear window on cab floor. Bed sides mostly intact, I have the piece that broke off the lower pass side. I'd assume any Vette guy could fix it. Hasn't been started since 1997 when it was parked in a very nice barn. Only part that was missing was the driver exhaust manifold. I just picked one up last night. It's wearing old keystone turbines and a set of 33" old tires that do hold air. 1 of 1300 step side jeeps, last year of Honcho and SportSide. Feel free to call and ask questions, or come out and look at it in person! Can help with loading and shipping in the USA 571.420.0071 Stock AMC radio that came in it. Stock Jeep factory wheels that came on it. Wearing.... A matching set of Goodyear tracker A/t with amazing tread On Mar-18-13 at 06:16:07 PDT, seller added the following information: While I was in NY this weekend, we had an unfortunate occurance. The contractors who are building the new deck at my house threw away the old wheels and tires to the Jeep. They have apologized for the error, There is no way for us to get them back. I adjusted the reserve price a fair amount to make up for this mistake. Everything else is secure, Happy Bidding! On Mar-19-13 at 06:02:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Just an update and an anwer to a popular question Ive been getting. The truck was listed for sale elsewhere, and is no longer available outside this auction. I do not want to reveal the reserve price, and I will not be adding a buy it now. Im not the person who has to value this truck... I started the auction at $200 and let it ride. My reserve is the absolute lowest I could think of taking, and its not cheap by typical J10 standards. That should weed out the chevy motor swappers and mud boggers. This truck will go to the highest bidder here, and a second chance offer will be made to the next in line if the first falls thru. Bid accordingly, and please check back for updates prior to the auction end. I will accomodate the winner of this Jeep in any reasonable way I can with whatever may come after the auction ends. Interestingly enough, this truck has more interested than my Typhoon and Bandit T/A did... combined. Rock On AMC guys. Rock On. -O|||||O-On Mar-19-13 at 17:00:37 PDT, seller added the following information: As of this afternoon, The exhaust manifold and new gaskets are on, the oil has been changed, new upper radiator hose, new battery cables, and with a shot of fresh gas I got a putter from the truck when it turned over. I am not a professional mechanic, but I was able to get enough out of it to say that the engine is not locked up (obviously), no knocks or weird noises. I am not going to go any further with working on the truck due to time contraints with work... but at least you know the motor turns and with a freshen up may run strong! It does not have a battery, i used one from my VW Golf and its already back in my car. The only thing i noticed that was missing under the hood was the drain plug and cap for the radiator (Which held water with a temporary plug. The headlights and marker lights came right on, the AC blower functions and the brake lights lit up when the pedal was depressed.
