NO RESERVE auction for a 1964 Studebaker Commander (and lots of NOS parts) that runs and drives, but will need attention to be an everyday driver. It has a 170 CI six that has a lazy #5 cylinder with '0' compression, while the neighbors are at 140 psi. It runs and drives, no back fires or smoke, just a tired #5. Auto transmission works well, brakes need pumping, but always stop. Always starts right up, two new front tires, rear tires have OK tread. Good front grill no damage, dull original bumpers, all trim and emblems on sides, and four hubcaps. Has had some rust above the rain gutters from carrying a surfboard, but has had some caulking to fill it in, and a roof re-paint with hammer tone bronze, along with the wheels. One hole on drivers floor pan has had an overlay patch. Minor rust spots under trunk lid, but overall a solid body. The interior is all stock but needs a refresh, with seats needing recover, front door panels, and some headliner rips. Original AM radio works, wind up antenna, and some gauges. Speedo and turn signals are not working, but head and tail lamps, horn and wipers are working. All doors and trunk lock work from a single key. Crack in windshield, but other glass good. NOS parts.....Green padded dash, tan glove box pad, dash cluster bezel, pair of bumper guards, 2 exterior door handles, 1 right front door panel (blue), 1 left front door panel (tan), 2 rear door panels (tan), valve cover gasket, fan belt, radio delete plate, trunk lid stainless molding, rear light wire harness, 2 rubber floor mats (may have some rips) round plastic emblem, rubber brake pedal pad. Clean California title with door post body numbers matching the title numbers. License tags current for 2013. Mileage is showing 66000, however it has turned past 100,000 miles, but true mileage is unknown. Vehicle is sold in 'as is' present condition.
