this is for a 74 beetle. i dont know much about it, other then the motor.... my brother calls it a sun bug, because it has a factory "crank" sunroof. not the vinle sliding top.. this guy brought the car to use to restore.... my brother looked it over, and gave the guy a rough est.... he only wanted to spend $3000 for the total project, including the 1k he paid for it..... when he decided it was to expensive. he signed the title over to us.... the only part i know about it is that the motor is shot.... my brother got the heads and cyl of but in the process alot of the fins broke off. this thing was siezed. after i opened the block, i found that at the oil pan there was alot of corrosion. out of the 6 studs that hold oil pan up, there are only 2 left. other then that. what you see in the pics is what you get.. if you would like more pic's email or text me. i will get them and post them asap... any questions i will go out and take a good look for you. we will do the restoration for the winning bidder, if you like.... our normal rates are $30.00 an hour. but will do it for the winning bidder for 18.00 an hour... plus parts.
