This is a 1968 Chevrolet Corvair Monza. Very Rare Car with Air Cooled 110 Horse Pan Cake 6 Cylinder Motor with Dual Carburetors Set Up From Factory. It Runs and Drives Great and is shifted with Saginaw 3 Speed Manual Transmission. Very Rare Color Outside is Ash Gold and Interior is Ivory Gold. My Friend bought this 3 Years Ago with Several Other Cars and Parts from Collection. Older Gentleman had Started Restoration including Painting Car. Engine Work was Professionally Done and Resealed then Re-Installed in car.(No Leaks) He had developed Health Problems and was Unable to Finish the Car. The Interior was so nice for Original We Just Reinstalled It after Cleaning not Show Car but Still Pretty Nice Considering its age. Fold Down Rear Seat With Carpeted Package Shelf. Carpet was worn and faded so we replaced it with Reproduction Original Style. Head Liner Was Good but tried Several Cleaners with out any luck so we replaced it. Car has Super Rare AM/Fm Radio High Dollar on E-Bay but Needs Dash Speaker. Car Has Best Wheel and Tire Combo American Racing Wheels and New Radials I have Seen But Original Are still Around if Desired. Car Runs and Drives Great and Draws A Crowd Where Ever It Goes. As most know once reserve of $6000 was met the buy it now of $6750 went away. Many are still trying to buy it for this price. I have discussed with Owner and we feel it would not be fair to the 20 current bidders to do this. We have had many trade offers with many being very intresting but both he and I are selling a few off in hopes of finally finishing other projects. So far Car has had 3757 Viewers and 172 of those have flagged to watch end results. Only $6101 has been bid with 21 Bids. As stated I have lots of extra photos so e-mail or call address and number listed above. Couple things pointed out by other bidders. I think car is missing original smog pump but appears to still have correct bracket. This car is not a leaker in photos trans appears oil soaked. it does have oil on it but not sure if it was pulled from car by previous owner and it appears to have not been detailed Shift and functions perfect and as it should. As I have told several, Car will drip quarter size drip sometimes if not driven after setting long periods of time. If car is driven it seems to not be a problem. We have tried to be fair and have turned down several offers to end auction early or at previous Buy It Now Price. With all interest in car we are hopeful this was right choice.
