Vehicle Detail

I added some photos of underside/frame/etc. A nice 1964 Dodge Custom 880 2-door hardtop coupe. These 880's are getting hard to find-especially the 2 door versions-I believe only 3798 Custom 880 hardtop coupes were made in 1964. Has a 361 V-8 with a stromberg 2bl carburetor and TorqueFlite Push button automatic transmission-last year for push button trannys in mopars was 1964. A very good driver car it does have a few issues. Showing some bubbling around the front of the wheel wells on both sides. Has an short somewhere in the dash-some times all the gauges peg high when driving and alt meter gage not working. The pot metal on the rear is spotty with oxidization here and there. Chrome all pretty good. The carpet is original and faded and worn through in some spots. Tranny has a small leak(all my c-body mopar trannys leak-my 62 300 & 64 300) I purchased the car when I lived in Virginia back in 2004. Brought it here when I moved(drove it) to upstate New York. When I purchased it I was told it was in a hail storm-has some small puck marks here and there-hard to photo. This car is garage kept throughout the year-no winter driving. Somebody did a mild amateur restoration at some point before I purchased the car-was painted white(original color was white as per the code on the body number plate WW)-they replaced the head liner with a white felt material and the seat covers look to be replaced with red vinyl and a red fabric(velour?)-the original seat covers were red cloth with red vinyl as per the body number plate code L1R. When I purchased the car in 2004 I replaced the tires and brakes-still have plenty of tread and replaced the belts at that time and had the carb rebuilt and distributor cap and rotor with plugs and wires. Had the tranny serviced about 5 yrs ago-gasket, filter etc. The battery is 3 years old as well as the starter-also replaced the voltage regulator. Recored the radiator 2 years ago with new hoses. Replaced alternator this past summer. I have a spare carb and belts, resistor ballast and Service Manual. I have the 4 original spinner style dodge hubcaps. I added some photos of the under side-frame etc. Looks like some of the original undercoating is still intact-not an expert-you be the judge. I couldn't get more photos cause it's still in the garage-still snow on the ground up here in Upstate NY. Please ask any questions prior to the end of the auction. I try to describe all items completely and objectively. Can work out a payment and storage since it is winter up here(snow and salty roads). Please TEXT or CALL my cell phone for more info-will respond quicker than through ebay. (518) 480-8522
