Vehicle Detail
Listed is a 1981 Honda CB 750f Supersport. Bike is mostly stock and in great condition. The only parts that aren't stock are the wheels. They are " Made in Italy" (not sure on brand). Rear = 18 x 3 Front= 19 x 2.5 Some paint chipping on the wheels Tires are 90%+ Original Exhaust, Paint, Bars, Controls, etc. No dents in tank or tares in the seat. Left Side Cover has a small crack There are a couple blemishes on the tank in the paint near triple tree. The Decals on cowel have some fading from sun, but are in good shape. The frame is in good condition. Bike fires right up! Battery is good. Starter is good. All lights, horn, and electric work as they should. I picked this bike up on trades with some other bikes. This one is too tall for me. I also prefer to ride and wrench on the earlier 70s Cb750s, so I'd like to sell this one. The snow is flying in upstate NY so I haven't driven the bike on the road, but it shifts through all the gears on center stand. Feel free to ask questions I have clear title in hand Dual Disc Brakes in the front with double pistons in each caliper. Single disc on the rear wheel. Air Assisted Front Shock These are getting popular. Super fun and fast! Lots of stopping power too with the trilogy of disc brakes. On Mar-03-13 at 06:05:50 PST, seller added the following information: I have had an overwhelming # of emails and questions. Please read... 1) I will not "sell for another reduced price " The bike currently has bids on it and will sell to the highest bidder on the Ebay forum. There is no minimum or Buy it now price. 2) Shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer. I will help the shipper with directions, communication and loading the bike, but I won't help pay for shipment costs 3) I have a clear title in hand that matches the bike 4) The weather here in upstate NY is cold and prohibits me from starting the bike and showing video of it running 5) There is some light surface rust here and there on the frame that will buff off easily. As mentioned in the bike's description 6) There is no warranty on this bike remaining from manufacturer or implied by me. Please understand this bike is over 30 years old and is "sold as is". I don't usually recommend "Vintage" bikes for beginners as they require routine attention, maintenance and some mechanical knowledge. If you don't have know-how I suggest finding a mechanic that can help you with annual maintenance Good luck bidding. On Mar-05-13 at 07:12:53 PST, seller added the following information: I added a couple more shots and had a few more questions I thought I would add here Bike has original tool kit and bag. There are two shop manuals specific to this model bike Bike does have center stand Last time bike ran was on a warm 45' day around Christmas 2012. Due to salty roads I did not take it out to rideOn Mar-05-13 at 07:23:15 PST, seller added the following information: Also, Bike shows absolutely no signs of being down or dropped as there are no scrapes or scratches on the exhaust or engine case. I put cardboard down when I ran it for about 5 minutes around Christmas to look for leaks. There was no sign of leakage. I see no oil staining from seepage on the engine or from gaskets. Also, no discoloration from carbs that would indicate gas or carb leakage. Battery seems great despite not running or tending in 2 months. I turned key last night and all the lights came on strong and blinkers still flashed indicating strong charge. Good luck! Last day to bid. I will try and answer any questions questions before auction end.
