Vehicle Detail
I bought this car at a local auction a few weeks ago but it needs more work than I'm willing to put into it since I only have a townhouse driveway to work on it. ~185k miles, auto trans (shifts smooth), 4x4, 4.2L inline 6 ( same as jeep, practically a tractor motor), CURRENT INSPECTION expires 4/13. It's got a pretty clean body/interior, idles fine, and RUNS STRONG. It has a new BATTERY, starter, belts, distributor, plugs, wires, high flow pcv valve, TIRES, etc... The biggest problems are that it leaking oil when it warms up and it needs exhaust work. There is a little dent on the front, driver side fender and the bottom of the driver side door was bent out somehow (I bent it back with a pair of pliers). Everything inside works except for passenger power window and the driver seatbelt clip is broken. It's loacated in Conshohocken, PA but I'll ship anywhere at your cost (added to winning bid price). Reserve is not high. Pictures attached are from the auction site but it still looks the same. EDIT - 25-FEB-2013 @ 10:05PM: This bird leaks about 1 quart of oil per 15 minutes of driving after it is warmed up. I replaced the valve cover gasket because some oil was pooling up on the heat shield above the headers. That didn't fix the leak. I think it needs a new valve cover (aluminum vs. stock plastic). To get it in you need to break the motor mounts to lower the motor an inch or two. Again, more than I can do with an HOA watching my every move.
