I’m selling my rust free 1975 Jeep CJ-5. The jeep has a 304 v8 with headers & a manual 3 speed. The previous owner told me that the jeep is originally from Arizona & was driven to North Carolina. The jeep looks good & runs good. The jeep has power steering, but the brakes are manual & drum. I bought the jeep in 2007 as a future project to restore & sell, but its sat in my garage because of time constraints. Its time to make room in my garage & I also have a second jeep so its time to sell it. I had it painted in 2009 LandRover Tangiers Orange & began replacing worn out parts. The jeep isn’t completely restored, but its good enough for my taste. All of the gauges are new & all the wiring is in good condition. All of the electrical connections have been soldered together so you should never have to worry about a lose wire. All of the seals in transmission, transfer case, & differentials have been replaced & the front bearings have been replaced. The jeep has a steel tub & its been coated with a roll on bed liner for protection. I also coated under the front fenders with the roll-on bed liner for protection. The tub sits on top of 3” lift & a painted frame. The seats are in excellent condition & the jeep has many chrome components. I didn’t spare any expense & replaced any part that was in questionable condition. Since the jeep is a 1975, it no longer needs an yearly vehicle inspection in North Carolina, but it did pass the state inspection when the inspection was required. I reserve the right to cancel the ebay auction at any time. I’ve saved all receipts for parts & repairs for the buyers records. Since all the engine & transmission seals have been replaced, the jeep is leak free. A full size spare tire comes with the jeep. Timing & carburetor have been adjusted. The original odometer has 29,000 miles on it, but since there are only 5 digits, the actual mileage might be 129,000; there is no way for me to know. For the amount of money that I’ve spent replacing & repairing the jeep, I believe it’s a good deal. I have a low reserve price & will keep the jeep if it doesn’t sell.
