Vehicle Detail
This is the "Early" 1967 Honda Trail 90. The early '67 models had two sprockets on the rear...the small one was for riding on the highway (high Range), and the big one was for taking to the trails (low range). The later '67 models had one rear sprocket and a selector switch for low/high range. This bike is all original. It was originally purchased from the Honda shop in Phoenix, AZ in 1967 by a serviceman in the Air Force. The bike was brought to SC in 1975 when the service member was transfered to Shaw AFB. The bike was put in storage and never ridden again until last Fall. The bike has been cleaned and detailed. It does have it's usual Patina. New items include: tires & inner tubes, seat cover, rubber fuel lines, battery, headlight bulb, tail light bulb, NOS kick starter lever. Usually starts on the second kick when cold, and first kick when warm. Runs like a new bike. Fun to ride or purchase to add to your collection. I do have a clear South Carolina title in my name for this bike. It is currently licensed & insured. I usually drive it around the neighborhood once a week to keep it in good running condition. I run only ethonal-free gas. The current mileage is 7,625 but may be higher because I do ride it some. Sold as is. No trades please. Ask all questions before bidding. Shipping is buyers responsibilty. Payment required within 7 days from aution end. I can hold the bike for pickup as long as needed after payment is recieved. On Feb-25-13 at 10:21:14 PST, seller added the following information:An added note.....this sale also includes a new but not complete tool kit. It also includes a very rare accessory seat that can be attached to the luggage rack. It is covered in leather and still has the original tag on the bottom that reads....BATES Accessories, Long Beach, California. It appears to also have a DOLLAR sign on it.
