1975 HONDA CB400F. This bike sat for years, and I got it from an estate sale. I don't know how long it sat, but would guess a while. The front caliper was stuck, I disassembled and cleaned it. The Carbs and gas tank were nasty, I cleaned those and installed a NOS Honda petcock. The points were adjusted, oil and filter changed, a new battery installed, and ready for a test run. It is easy to see why the 400 is a cult bike. They are fun to ride, handle decent and look great. The bike is in very good condition for 38 years old. There are small scratches, and two small dents at the front of the tank, where it was installed improperly and ridden. The side covers are mint. The seat is mint, with the exception of a small tear on the right side. There are no leaks. The tires hold air fine, but are old and should be replaced. The brake and clutch work as they should. The tachometer is sluggish. The cable is fine, so maybe the tach needs to loosen up. The rear wheel has minor rust on it, it looks good from 5 feet. All the gauges and lights work properly. The horn is not working.. I will see if I can repair it. A previous owner installed a oil cooler or something, I didn't get it with the bike. Note the oil filter housing. ****Georgia does not issue titles on vehicles built prior to 1986, and I do not have one. I will supply a tag receipt and bill of sale, which is good in all 50 states for legal transfer. Check with your tag office first.
