NO RESERVE!!!1965 CHEVROLET C-10 CUSTOM!FLEETSIDE SHORT BED!FULLY AIR BAGGED SUSPENSION!CLEAN TITLE!CALIFORNIA TRUCK!BLACK PLATE TRUCK!327 V8!TURBO 350 TRANSMISSION!SHAVED DOOR HANDLES!REMOTE CONTROL DOOR POPPERS!RALLY WHEELS!WHITE WALL TIRES!FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS! Up for sale is a super cool fully air bagged 1965 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Fleetside. This truck was taken as part trade with a few others for one of my cars so I will describe this truck based on what I was told, know and experienced while driving it to my best ability. The truck appears to be very rust free from the exterior, to the floor pans, to the cab corners, and frame along with the rest of the truck. The truck has always been here in Northern California and still wears it's original California Black and Yellow license plates from 1964 being that it was sold in late 1964. I would describe this tuck as in restored driver quality condition. Starting with the engine the 327 V8 has been rebuilt not long ago and it shows and drives that way. The engine runs great as you would expect from a low mileage rebuild. The engine is not overbuilt with a huge cam etc.. it was built to run on pump gas and to be a dependable driver. It's running an Edelbrock Nascar Edition 4bbl intake manifold with a Quickfuel Technologies 4bbl dual feed carb with an automatic choke. The engine also has a set of chrome Edelbrock valve covers. The air cleaner is a billet aluminum oval set up that looks sharp. The truck is running an MSD coil through a stock distributor running a vacuum advance. The truck also has a chrome alternator that looks real sharp and charges great. The truck is running a set of long tube headers into dual Flowmaster mufflers that exit before the rear tires through chrome tips, Sounds Nice! The truck is set up with stock power steering that works great making this a very easy truck to maneuver around unlike most that have manual steering. Another great set up is that this truck has power brakes which work great and stop this truck with ease unlike most trucks this vintage that have manual brakes that can be real pain especially when coming to panic stops. I was told the brakes were all redone recently and it shows, brakes nice and straight! The suspension consist of air bags on all four corners that were installed recently with all new lines, 2 new 5 gallon tanks installed nicely under the rear off the bed along with 2 Viair compressors that fill both tanks up quickly. The rear lifts up very fast, almost as if it were hydraulics and the front also rises quick, just not as aggressive as rear. From what I have noticed the passenger front raises a little higher than driver side front then levels out. There is one gauge to show the amount of air in tanks and will shut down when all the way full. There is a separate toggle switch that will shut the compressors off manually. The truck has new rally wheels in Argent Silver paint with flat disc rally wheel chrome caps with awesome ribbed chrome beauty trim rings. The tires are new pinner white walls and look awesome and ride very nice!! Moving to the outside staring with the body and paint. I would say it's a macco type job in both body and paint quality but still definitely gets tons of looks and attention. There is no visible rust anywhere or bubbling which is a good sign that this indeed is a nice solid Original California Truck. A pop up sunroof was installed during some point in it's life and the previous owners replaced it with a newer tinted pop up and had it resealed before paint so it does not leak. All the trim and door handles have been shaved to give it that nice clean straight line look which looks great and stands out from other 65 chevy trucks. The glass is all in good shape, there is a chip on the passenger side windshield but not in line of vision as seen in pic below. The chrome front bumper and grill look great and shine very well. The rear of the truck has a rear roll pan that looks nice! The bed has been rhino lined on all 4 sides along with the wheel well tubs. The floor of the bed consist of diamond plate. The hood turn signal area has been filled and cut out for the signals that are installed from behind now that look custom. Moving on to the interior. The seat appears to be from a later model Chevy truck which is worn in various places especially on driver side therefore there is a serape cover over it. I did get an estimate to have the inserts reupholstered for a few hundred dollars and have found form fitted seat covers for late model chevy trucks for under a hundred dollars if the serape is not your look. The door panels are gray vinyl and cloth and don't look bad. The headliner has been replaced with cloth instead of the orig metal/cardboard look. The inside has been painted high gloss black. The heater control, ashtray, and glove box have been chromed. The carpet is all there, kinda faded. The automatic transmission selector has been moved from the column to a floor shift B&M shifter. The dash houses a water temp gauge and oil pressure gauge which both work great and a psi air tank gauge under the dash for the air bag system. The stock gauge cluster works and the speedo seems to be accurate and works. The column houses a 5 inch sun tach. The stereo works and sounds good. The steering wheel is a stock Chevy Truck Custom steering wheel that looks great. The heater is hooked up and works good as well as the defroster! Seems like everything works on this truck as it should making it a nice dependable classic truck that can be used as an everyday driver if wished to be used as one. Now for the fun stuff below!!!!
