This is a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 1978 (the later part of the year, Sept. 1978). This truck is in mint condition, and looks great. Many new parts , tires and wheels are less than 1 year old. Original engine runs great, 4speed shifts great, wipers and horn work perfect. Inside, the heater works great. It has been well maintained inside and out. Stored inside an air conditioned garage. Very minimal rust and a great candidate for a full restoration, but if you ask me this truck is so solid, that with a great paint job and some minor surface rust repair you will have the truck of your dreams; I truly guarantee that statement. Or if you just want to repaint the hood and front grill for a couple hundred dollars, that is all you really need for now. The remaining paint surfaces on the truck look good and it still shines. I purchased this truck in Miami, Fl. and I am the third owner. The original owner and second owner lived less than 5 miles from my home and they have lived in Miami their whole lives. This is my second Land Cruiser in 15 years and by far this one has been a true gem. This truck is all original with the exception of a 5 to 1 header, I installed along with a flow master with a 2 1/2 inch exhaust that leads out from the flow master. These trucks were built to last and after 34 years this truck is still a work horse and it demands nothing but good looks. She will last another 34 years without a hiccup, I just can't stop talking about these trucks, they were truly built to last a lifetime, if thats even possible. Anyone who owned one or currently has one knows exactly what I am talking about. This particular truck is the beast of all beasts. Unfortunately, my life has come to a crossroad that demands other priorities and I must part for financial reasons. My loss is someone else's Gain. Vehicle is equipped with a practically brand new 9500 Ramsey Patriot Winch with 50ft. cord and wireless remote transmitter installed. Also included are 5 factory steel wheels with original hubcaps with used 31 inch used tires installed on rims. Brand New Factory OEM Front Doors Weatherstripping and Rear Ambulance Doors Weatherstripping also brand new still in packaging. 2 New OEM land cruiser emblems for front aprons in packaging as well as the rear 4 wheel drive and Toyota emblems still in packaging. Original leaf spring and u-bolts included in sale. The vehicle is currently equipped with 4 practically brand new 33x14.5x15 Super Swamper Radial Tires TSL mounted on four 15x12 Mickey Thompson Aluminum Wheels. The truck currently has a 4 inch Rough Country suspension lift. I also have the original bottle jack with accessories inside the original Toyota storage bag.
