NO RESERVE. Numbers Matching 1972 Dodge Challenger 340. This is the Real Deal. Factory (FE5) Bright Red/ Rally Red, 340 4BBL Challenger. This Challenger has her Original Engine, Transmission, Rear Axle, Manifolds and Intake. This is a Rare Factory Air Conditioning Car (H51). This is a Great Factory Optioned Challenger and the Fender Tag Options show; Console with Buckets, A/C, Power Front Disc Brakes, 72 Electric Ignition, Duel Exhaust with Duel Chrome Tips and much more (see pic). This Challenger was a restored about 5 years ago, she was one of the nicest original cars to start and the restoration included very little body work as you can see all the lines line up, a repaint, suspension rebuilt. This was more of a functional restoration; things like paint, bushings, engine and trans rebuild. I would say she drives very close to like she did new if not the same. Steering is right on with no slack, sounds great, shifts great and brakes work perfect and that says allot for a mopar. I’m not saying this is a museum quality car, she has a few touched-up rock chips and she was an original vinyl top car so close to the trim on the roof there are a few issue spots (see pics). Can be easily fixed and a vinyl top put back on to make her just the way she was born. If you’re looking for a great Numbers matching real 340 Challenger, great original car....this is it. I have driven this car for 100s of miles and would honestly get in this car and drive her anywhere.
