Here is my iconic Toyota Landcruiser FJ60 for sale, and honestly...it is one of the best mechanically functioning FJ60's you'll find anywhere. This car was born in California, but moved and grew up in Texas. That means this FJ has absolutely NO body rot from rust. Only has some minor surface rust that could be easily removed. This FJ60 has several features that everyone loves from these old rigs...including locking hubs, original 2F straight six cylinder, and the stubbornness to never die. Condition:Interior - The front and back seats are practically flawless, with only a few minor tears in the bottom vinyl of the back seats, but no tears on the cloth. The door panels also have a couple minor tears in the vinyl. The dashboard has the typical crack on the top near the gauge cluster, but mine is very small in comparison to the others. The rear is missing the carpet and was Rhino Lined by previous owner to use as more of a hauling vehicle. Carpet throughout cab is very good for the vehicles age. Pop-up sunroof functions without any problems and does not leak. This is a very unique feature you will probably never find on another FJ60. Head liner has one small hole near drivers side, but does not sag anywhere in the cab. Exterior - This land cruiser has a body that is straight as an arrow with only a few minor dings that are common on any vehicle...new or old. The body does not have ANY major cosmetic defects. All the chrome trim is present as well as all the badges. The paint itself is not great. The previous owner did a white primer in anticipation of paint job that never happened. The vehicle will come with light rail seen in photos, which also has a 42" High-Lift jack mounted to it that is included. The jack alone with the mount is $200. 33" tires with 2.5" lift which has less than 2,000 miles on it and professionally installed by a Land Cruiser specialist. Front windshield is flawless...not even a chip. All other windows are equally as perfect. New Solar Gard Ultra Performance Anit-UV tint installed less that a year ago and comes with lifetime warranty. Mechanical - This FJ60 is not only one of the best because of how clean the body is, but also because its completely mechanically sound. Gears don't grind, clutch is smooth, and 4 wheel drive works. All maintenance since I have owned the vehicle has been done professionally, which means it was done right. Previous owner had locking hubs fully rebuilt. Steering knuckles completely rebuild less than 2,000 miles ago. That means new wipers, felts, gaskets, lock washers, bearing seals, bug gaskets, inner axle seals, and KOYO japanese wheel bearings. This FJ has no play in the steering wheel, drives straight, and maneuvers extremely well. Both tie-rod ends replaced less than 5,000 miles ago. Also had the entire braking system done. Brand new calipers, rotors, and break pads with less than 2,000 miles on them. Systems was completely flushed and now it can stop on a dime. New Ironman 4X4 2.5" lift kit installed with all four leaf springs, 4 new Nitro Gas shock absorbers, new U-Bolts, anti-inversion greasable shackles, and front steering damper professionally installed and less than 2,000 miles on it also. The state of Texas has exempt emissions for vehicles 26 years old and older. This car was professionally desmogged** adding the idler pulley in place of smog pump. Anyone who knows these cars knows the smog pump fails on them every few years...so why not just bypass it and get a few extra miles per gallon. The AC was just recharged and blows cold, upgraded R422 freon system. Electrical - No electrical problems. All gauges work perfectly, all lights light up as they should, all blinkers, head lights, tail lights, and horn are fully functional. Let the pictures show you why this is one of the most sought after off road vehicles and land cruiser out there. The main reasons why I wanted it over a few of the other FJ models is that the FJ60 is bigger than the FJ40...you can comfortably carry 5 people in it and still have room in the back space. Its feel it is more rugged than the 70's series. I love the way it looks with the round head lights compared with the square 62. And it is easy to work on if you decide to do some minor maintenance unlike the later fuel injected 80 series. Clean title Texas title, but I'm located in California. Will come with ORIGINAL Toyota Land Cruiser Repair Manual for Body & Chassis (Not Haynes or Chilton) and ORIGINAL1983 Owners Manual. Will also come with rear mud flaps.
