Vehicle Detail
For sale my 2001 vette, I've had the car for about 3 months, I bought the car from a local gentleman, I bought the car for a weekend only car, but now the car just sits in the garage and dont have time to drive it, I've driven the car about 5 times since I got it, it's a great car, starts everytime and has not mechanical issues, it idles perfect, runs smooth and pulls hard, the car its in very good condition, small scratches on the rear trunk and one on the front bumper, nothing big, its to be expected on a 12 year old car, a small rip on the drivers seat, previous owner said that it was a common thing on c5 seats, I had a body shop buff the car and detailed. I like to take care of my cars, everytime I drove it, I would let it warm up for at least 15 mins, the car has never been tracked or raced, adult owned and taken care of, it has been a cruiser for all its life. The convertible top is in great shape, it starts in a single crank, the motor feels like new, not strange noises, still has o lot of tire left, maybe 75-85%, the shifter is butter smooth, it has heads up display and bose surround system, traction control, power seats, power door locks. Also have the title in hand, no after markets parts in the car, all stock. The reason why Im selling my car its because I needed a 4 seat vehicle to pick up my daughter from daycare and going out with the family, the vette didnt cut it with it's 2 seats, wife wasn't happy, so I purchased a 2008 M3, I work 6 days a week and get Sundays off, which is family day, and needed a family car, that is the only reason why the car its for sale. The previous gentleman that had it bought the car 7-8 years ago from a dealer, he paid over 30k for it, the car was stored in Santa Rosa, CA. and the owner lived in Chico, it was stored in a heated garage all the time, the previous owner was 70+ and said the car was just sitting in his garage and everytime he came down to drive it the battery was death, also said that he was getting older to be driving a 6 speed around and need it something more comfortable. I truly thing the cars should be driven and not parked, I think its time for someone else to enjoy the car, I have described the car the best that i can, if you have any questions dont hesitate to call me at 707-291-0537, Robert.
