Ok. Here we go. This one’s gonna hurt. You’re lookin’ at a virtually flawless and quite rare Pearl Red 2004 Hayabusa Limited Edition that I spent a whole bunch of time searching for and then spent a whole lot of money and an extraordinary amount of time on in an effort to get it “just right”. Well, to make a long story a little shorter, I recently got engaged and while the fiancé loves bikes, she’s partial to ridin’ on my custom Harley so the ‘busa doesn’t get much attention. On top of that I’ve got my house for sale and I currently have a very large garage (over 1800 square feet) - I don’t expect to have such a thing wherever I end up, so I'm parting with a bunch of my toys in anticipation of the move . Such is life. It really sucks bein’ a grown up sometimes lol J I bought the bike in December of 2011 after searching for the right one for many months – I specifically wanted an ‘O4 Limited Edition due to the Pearl Red paint and the black frame and wheels. Fact is I’ve always liked the looks of Ducati bikes, but I prefer the riding characteristics of the Hayabusa, so I decided I’d create a Hayabusa that had all the eyeball of a Ducati. In addition to that I’m extremely partial to the pre ’08 Hayabusa body style, but I digress. I spent most of 2012 flying back and forth from Florida to Los Angeles to spend time with the girl who I’m now engaged to, so I’ve only put a little over 500 miles on the bike since I bought it as I only got to ride it on sunny days when I was back in Florida every couple of months – most of the upgrades (including the new Avon tires) don’t have 50 miles on them. The bike’s now got over $3200 worth of custom stuff (not counting labor), most of which I bought here on ebay when I had the time to play. This bike looks like it could be brand new. In fact if the odometer said 600 miles on it you wouldn’t question it – it’s that nice. I started out with an immaculate bike and made it even better. Look at the paint in the pictures - it's truly exceptional. If you’ve been looking for the “right” Hayabusa, look no further – this one is as good as they get.
