In its current condition this car is best for parts or as a station car. We are saying goodbye to a beloved family friend in this vehicle. It starts every time, runs and drives very reliably. Last year we rebuilt the entire 4matic transmission, and front differential; it cost over $3K. Interior space is enormous; it can seat seven, or the seats fold for lots or room. The entire vehicle shows the wear and tear of ten years of family use (But it was never smoked in and there are no pet odors either). Interior isn’t bad, there is one open seam on front passenger seat. Last night a fuse must have blown because the power windows, horn, directionals, and power door locks all stopped working.(That’s what finally prompted me to post it for sale, we had been using it as a second car.) The radio, heating system, power sun roof, and flashers still function. The only warning light which indicates a problem is the SRS light which when tested indicates that the passenger seat sensor isn’t operational. (Brake indicator comes on occasionally as well, but in the past this means it's time for new pads.) The windshield has one chip and one crack about three inches in diameter, both have been present for over a year. Exterior looks ok from ten feet away, but most body panels have dents or scratches. Engine starts and runs fine, but sometimes at idle it can sound very rough; this also has been going on for quite some time. Tires are in decent shape. Antenna is broken, so AM radio can be staticy. I have two original keys, one main key and one valet key. I have tried to describe the good and bad to the best of my ability. Please ask any questions before bidding. Auction is without reserve; there is no buy-it-now. I will not sell parts, only the entire car. Car is sold AS IS / WHERE IS, here in Brooklyn, New York. It is registered and insured so it can be test driven. I strongly urge potential buyers to come and inspect prior to sale, and/or pick the vehicle up.
