It appears to be in mid-restoration. The frame, floor pans, floor braces etc. have all been restored and are in good condition. It has been upgraded to upper tubular A-arms, coil-over shocks, and four wheek disc. brakes. From what we can tell, the engine is a 350 CI with a turbo transmission. Upgrades to the engine compartment include power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, Griffin aluminum radiator, chrome alternator etc. This Nomad drive ssuprisingly well. The motor starts easily, doesn't get hot, doesn't leak a bunch of fluid. It is really a good driver, has a good gear and plenty of power. The body is complete, which is great for restoring a Nomad. It has all of the stainless and chrome that it came with in 1956. It looks like someone just didn't get a chance to do the body work and paint it. The worst rust is beneath the passenger door, please see the photos below. The interior is in original condition. The headliner is really good, the seat covers are faded, the dash is in good original condition complete with chrome tissue box. The steering has been upgrade to chrome tilt wheel. There is also an aftermarket radio installed in the original radio hole. The entire interior is currently original, driver quality. We purchased this Nomad exactly as you see it.
