Vehicle Detail
Solid 57 210 Handyman Wagon. Original Unrestored V8 California car built at the LA Plant. Still has the one piece front bumper. It has been on the central California coast throughout its life and has been well cared for. The original colors were Sierra Gold and Ivory. The body and roof are extremely straight (you would be hard pressed to find a straighter car) Both doors and tailgates close very easily and feel solid. There is some rust in the typical areas but nothing that affects the integrity of the car. I have a replacement drip rail for the rear of the car above the back window should you wish to replace. All the exterior stainless trim is in nice driver quality condition. Driver side window has a cosmetic crack that does not affect functionality Rebuilt 350, mild RV type cam, alum intake, new Holley 670 Street Avenger carburetor New exhaust with 2 1/2” Ramhorn exhaust manifolds, through 2” Magnaflow mufflers, exiting behind the rear wheels Electronic ignition Rebuilt TH 350 trans with a Gennie Shifter stick Stock rear end New radiator New Coker bias ply tires 15x7 Chrome smoothie wheels Rebuilt front end New brakes, upgraded dual reservoir master cylinder with vacuum booster The interior was re-done with gray tweed and vinyl at some point Headliner is in excellent condition New speedometer and gauges 61 Corvette steering wheelI drive this car to work and around town frequently. It has some squeaks and imperfections, but what unrestored 56 year old car doesn't? This is a cool surf wagon that gets plenty of attention! It has a clear title, registration is up to date and does not require a smog certificate. Buyer is responsible for pick up / transportation of the car. Buyer is encouraged and invited to inspect in person. The driver and rear floor pans have a bit of surface rust. Passenger side has 3 small rust throughs that could be patched with a small piece of steel. The driver and rear floorboards have surface rust only. No serious rot anywhere on the car. The last 3 photos in the listing were taken today. The other photos were taken last month, so they are all recent photos. Thanks - 57waggn
