Vehicle Detail

I have a Mostly all original Stellar blue 400 4 speed trans am with the correct number matching drive train I believe. They only made a little over 6k of these cars, so they're getting quiet rare in good restorable shape. I haven't personally checked the engine numbers but it appears to be all original to the car and never removed. I have owned and built several of these cars so I'm quiet familiar with what they should be in correct form. This car has the black deluxe interior in very good shape for the age and correct honey comb wheels. The car does run strong but stalls at an idle, I think it has a bad fuel pump or pin hole in the fuel line. The clutch will need replacement also. I did drive the car around a couple times when I first bought it and it drove quiet well being nearly 40 years old and mostly untouched from new. The dash and gauges look very nice as most are sun bleached and cracked from sitting in the sun for many years. It does have an aftermarket intake but I do have the original to the car. The car does have some rust in the rear quarters. The floors and trunk and rear valance appear to be in very good shape along with the doors and fenders. One fender will need a small metal patch. I have rust free full quarter panels that have trunk drop offs and wheel tubs, very nice GM front lower valence panel, front wheel flare, front bumper, and two spare rear frame rails that will go with the sale. I only seen one small spot in one of the frame rails I was going to repair, but overall the bottom of the car is very nice. Anyone that knows these cars will understand that just in parts I have much invested. I bought the car to restore but I just don't have the time. I have one car in the shop now being done and a 1974 trans am going in next. So I figured I would let this very nice candidate go do to time constraints. I have set the price well under my investment for a quick sale. All the parts go with the car which some are not listed. I would recommend this car as a restoration project. As a side note when I redo a car I completely strip them and base clear them top to bottom. Every nut and bolt gets painted along with the floor boards and frame. So I'm quiet picky and don't buy or sell beat up junk. This car has been lightly modified back in the day but is really untouched as is. Air shocks were added along with a performer intake and holly carb. The holley was in bad shape due the age. so I put on the original to the car factory quad just to move it around.
