Vehicle Detail
TITLE SAYS REBLT SALVAGE. We bought envoy from a wrecking yard with the salvage title back in 2007 with 63000 miles on it, it was totally rebuilt and looked perfect. We drove this vehicle 50000 miles without one single problem, then my son took it on a road trip in July and did not check the oil, it was way low on oil and spun a couple rod bearings, motor now has bad knock and needs to be replaced. It starts and drives but wouldn't want to drive anywhere. We decided to buy a 98 Honda Accord for 2000.00 instead of having a used motor put in envoy, mainly because of gas mileage and the fact of the salvage title, My son always complained how bad the Envoy was on gas. So this vehicle would make great parts vehicle or buy a 1000.00 motor from a wrecking yard (going price in our area)and put it in and have great work rig. Overall vehicle is in decent shape, the back bumper cover has bad hit on side and the front has a scuff and small hole in it.If buying for parts car you couldn't use back one but the rest car would be useable except for motor. I want you to know that the motor is not a piece of cake to pull out and put in like a 350 Chevy motor or I would have done it and drove car for many more years, please research this yourself before you bid if you think this is What you would do with it. We bought all new tires for it about a year ago so they have about 75 % left on them. Like I said this was very dependable vehicle and if I would have known my son was going to head out of town I would have changed the oil and this vehicle would have given us many more years of service and wouldn't be for sale. Happy bidding.
