Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 2005 F150, 4x4, regular cab, 4.6 V8, with sliding rear window. I am the original owner. The truck was purchased at Capital Ford in Raleigh in August of 2005. This was my first new vehicle, so it got babied it's whole life. It is a solid southern truck with no rust, garage kept for most of its life. For a while I had a job that required 100+ miles of travel each day, so the majority of the miles are highway miles. Aside from being my commuter, it was used to haul hay bales, farm supplies, and firewood. Overall, the body is in excellent condition with only minor scratches and two small dings, about what you'd expect from a 8 year old truck. This vehicle has never been in any accidents and has never had any mechanical problems. The engine light has never come on in all the years I've owned it! Maintenance has always done on regular intervals. Aside from oil changes, tires, and batteries, I've had the transmission fluid and filters changed every 50K miles. I had new ball joints put in about 5K miles ago. It has a K&N air filter that gets cleaned regularly. I just put new tires on it a couple months ago, probably less than 2K miles on them. The truck has camouflage window vents and bug shield. I have also kept camouflage seat covers on it the whole time I have owned it, so the seats still look new. The seat covers are included in the sale. The vehicle also has the rubber floors, which are great for cleaning up dirt/mud, and has a factory tool tray behind the seats. Truck also comes with a Century Truck Cap/Camper Shell. This truck cap is fiberglass, has sliding side windows and a locking rear window. The bed is in good condition, I've kept truck bed coating/liner on it since the day it was new. Additionally, the truck has a chrome bull bar and factory running boards. The factory radio started eating CDs, so I replaced it with a radio out of a Mustang. It fit the dash perfect and has all the functionality. It is the shaker 500 radio, but I do not have the amps or subwoofer's that accompany this system in the Mustangs. Unfortunately, it has manual windows and locks. I personally have always looked that this as a positive, less electrical stuff to break! I do have a clean title for it in hand, so there should not be any hold ups with the transaction. Thank you for your interest!
