1965 Rambler American 330 4 Door Station Wagon Here is a very solid and original Rambler American 330 station wagon that just came out of a long sleep. It has the OHV 6 cylinder engine mated to a three speed standard transmission with overdrive and FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING. THE GOOD: Super solid body, great floors, rockers etc. It even has all of the undercoating still on the underbody. Engine and transmission runs and drives nicely, no smoke or noises. The O/D works as it should. New Shocks New master cylinder, wheel cylinders and hoses New 205 75 14 tires with no mileage on them Have electric wipers work but sounds like arm is unattached. Roof rack All glass good and tinted on the back windows Am radio works Have seat belt on driver’s side only The air appears to complete with belt still attached but probably needs recharge Gas tank cleaned and sealed Electric pump has been added But original mechanical pump and line is still there Front end is nice and tight. Original headliner is there but sagging, should be easy to reglue. Original carpet good except for small section at driver’s side. Many spare parts included such as starter, alternator, gaskets, hoses, tune up stuff, air cleaner etc. This is a great going to swap meets and car shows car. Work on it as you want or drive and enjoy as is. How often have you seen one with these options? I was going to make this into a nice surf wagon, but a better Bucket List vehicle became available. The car is in my name and insured and licensed in the original Black and Yellow plates. THE BAD: The car was painted (cheap job) long time ago and in a not original color. There were decals on the doors and were removed but a faint shadow is seen if you look real close. The car still looks nice but does have some chips and scratches Both door panels on driver’s side are warped but covering is very good. No spare Some of the door rubber is hard. Turn signals and horn do not work There are a few bubbles noticed see photos. The front seat was redone some time in its life and looks nice, but not correct. The rear is original but worn. Plastic in cargo area is cracked and there is no carpeting. ASK QUESTIONS AND OR ASK FOR MORE PICTURES. OF COURSE CAR IS SOLD AS IS AND NO WARRANTY. Also added some pictures of the front headliner and of the underbody to show how solid it is.
