Vehicle Detail
One of a thousand matching numbers Triumph Bonneville T140 Silver Jubilee edition motorcycle. The bike is in used condition and not fully original. Paint is original and some chrome is pitted.please look at the pictures and ask any questions. I believe there were 1000 each of these bikes sent to the US, Australia and Canada and they were a commemorative Bonneville for Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee (25 Years on the throne of England)The bike needs some TLC but is a matching numbers one of a thousand. The sale includes a new seat cover I purchased from England and a set of new gaskets, repro parts and workshop manuals.I can help with loading on transport as needed. On Jan-30-13 at 06:12:42 PST, seller added the following information: Below are some answers I have sent to questions about the bike. I have described this bike as best I can and will post any helpful updates to the listing during the auction. The bike is in used condition with no warranty. The bike runs and changes through the gears. I have injured my right ankle and have not started it or ridden it in about 5 or 6 months. It'll probably need carbs cleaned.I have no history on the engine internals or service history. When I ran it and rode it, it had that great Bonny sound and went through the gears fine. I wouldn't call it roadworthy due to the brakes needing adjustment. The bike is not a show bike yet but has the potential.Back brake needs adjustment. Yes, the bike runs and changes through the gears. I have injured my right ankle and have not started it or ridden it in about 5 or 6 months. It'll probably need carbs cleaned.Back brake needs adjustment. I have not started the bike for about 5 months. I have injured my right ankle and can't start my kick starters. It ran when I bought it in May last year and I have ridden it since. The rear brake needs work, front is fine, I would not call it road worthy without some tweaking. No known engine problems. On Feb-03-13 at 15:50:02 PST, seller added the following information: What is not original on the bike? Anything missing, modified? Thanks From what I can tell, the finned clamps a the exhaust headers are not original, the pipes are pretty new but not OEM or NOS. they are a knockoff but look correct.Throttle grip doesn't look correct but most other stuff looks original. Does the rear brake need adjusting or is the master cylinder froze? I can't say the MC is frozen or locked but when you step on the brake, not too much happens and you are then only using the front.
