An all original garage kept vehicle from the start. The torch red leather interior is amazing, with no fading, tears or wear. Includes the original floor mats. People are shocked when they see this Corvette. Do not let the sun reflection on the camera alter your view. You will see the the beautiful color in some of the other pics. The torch red interior was the rarest of all the colors that came with this model. The interior also features a telescopic and tilt steering wheel for maximum comfort. Cruise Control is also included. All gauges are like new and perfect. The exterior is beautiful with an amazing shine! There is a couple of very small patina spots on the right front over the tire, but do not detract from the vehicle. They are nothing a body shop could’nt easiy cover if you wanted it that perfect. There are no cracks or spider webs. It is a looker. The engine is all original with only 20k miles. Yes, It is a garage queen. How does it run, drive and ride? LIKE A DREAM! The T- tops fit in the back and a black cover pulls out to conceal the compartment. In fact, just to make it like new again, and to give the new owner a fresh start, $4500 were spent on the expendable items even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with them! This was all done by a classic restoration expert! The belts and hoses are all new! New gaskets were installed on the valve covers and water pump! New Monroe shocks and bushings were installed! New wheel bearings and calipers were installed! While the valve covers were off I had him install new valve stem seals too! He actually used the extra parts for his own corvette restoration! The tires are like new and the original wheels are too. This corvette is also very special in that it comes with the factory option Gymkhana suspension that was put on the Official 1978 Indy Pace Car! Not something you usually find on this model. The electric anntena motor needs to be replaced which is inexpensive, Easy to buy online and easy to install. I just never needed to use it for radio reception. Oh, the original Eight Track player is in perfect condition. I keep 8 track tapes in the glove compartment factory slots! I forgot to mention that when the new parts were installed I had new pipes all the way from the manifold and Dynaflow mufflers installed! The pipes are professionally welded and symetrical making a true dual exhaust system. The air filter is a lifetime K&N filter, nothing but the best. The mechanic was amazed at the beautiful condition of the under carriage. A new and first Grandson has entered our lives. The wife and I made a difficult decision to sell our beloved toy in order to help the kids and the fact that we drove it less than a 1000 miles per year.
